Amexicillin (noun):

Amexicillin (noun):
1) antibiotics bought over-the-counter in Mexico, 2) a major cause of antibiotic resistant bacteria, 3) a well-intentioned gift-bottle of 200 pills sitting in our medicine cabinet that, as a public health professional, I can’t decide what to do with… Can’t use them in good conscience, can’t flush them into the water supply, 4) pills that I supported my husband taking to self-treat a likely sinus infection because our shoddy, expensive, private health insurance has a high deductible and doesn’t cover lab tests.
