I meant to write this post on New Year’s Day.
And Eat, don’t forget eating. I will eventually “turn you” with all my vegangelism. Bwa ha ha!
Luckily, the Weekly Photo Challenge: Resolved prompted me to follow though on my plans and write this post.
Here are my award-worthy, HIGH-quality, iPhone photos:
On New Year’s Eve, my husband and I realized we both have rocks given to us by people whose energy we no longer want in our lives.
We decided to inscribe the rocks with things we don’t want to take forward into 2013: Illness, Lack of Sleep, Boredom, Loneliness, Frustration, Depression, Not Speaking Up, and the memories of certain people who shall not be named.
We bundled up the Little Guy, and drove down to the river-front.
My husband started to feel a little ambivalent about throwing them into the river, so I threw mine over the edge with all my might:
He threw his in. It went farther.
We felt a little lighter already.
Then we got the Little Guy home.
As we left, my husband asked me if I do things just to put them in the blog.
I replied, “No, but when we do something, I think about whether it SHOULD BE in the blog.”
Sometimes I’m not sure where the boundaries are between my self and my iSelf.
How much of your life do you share in your blog?
Where do you draw the line?
