I want to personally apologize for not blogging in the past couple of days. I have been quite busy with school and a speech and debate tournament. With that said, in my Honors Writing class, our teacher wanted us to partner up (my partner was my best friend, Hailey Hanks, of course), write a children’s book together, illustrate it, bind it, and submit it to the state competition. Beforehand though, our teacher made us bring in some children’s books from our own childhood and read them out loud to the class. I was excited to go home and go through our children’s books! However, whenever my brother and I were children, we read books with chapters. Some of my favorites being The Magic Tree House, Junie B. Jones, Goosebumps, etc. This…
